Moving to a Greener Future
NEER Service are pleased to announce that the company has once again been accredited to the French government’s Objective C02 program for another 3 years.
In addition to our Ecovadis certification, our participation in Objectiv C02, reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a more sustainable future for the international moving industry.
Objective C02 is a voluntary emissions reduction program developed by the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy and ADEME, through which transport companies pledge to work towards an overall reduction in emissions that includes an action plan related to vehicles, fuels, drivers, and logistics. The badge is awarded to companies that achieve the required level of performance.
In addition to our commitment to delivering quality international moving services in France in accordance with the FIDI Code of Ethics, we will continue to provide those services in the most environmentally friendly way.
Thanks for your support.
Port Strikes Continue
Workers at all French ports are continuing industrial action this week, even though the recent increase in the retirement age has been signed into law.
Workers will stage 3 half-day stoppages at French ports on June 6th to June 8th. Limited disruption is expected, but NEER Service will advise partners if any shipments are delayed by the latest industrial action.
