Strikes Expected to Bring France to a Standstill
Industrial action is expected to cause serious disruption at ports, airports and for road traffic in France on December 5th, as many unions join together to protest against government plans to reform the country’s pension system.
Workers in the transport sector will join metro and bus drivers, airline ground crew and air traffic controllers, lawyers, teachers, civil servants and postal workers in a day of industrial action that could continue for several days.
